Your Lady Colts varsity team lost their season opener to Cedar Crest by a score of 44 – 51. Ryan Kaercher led the team in scoring with 17 points, in rebounds with 7 and in steals with 5. Julia Hoffman added 12 points and 3 steals. Natalie Uibel chipped in with 8 points, had 5 rebounds, and was co-leader in steals with 5. Eliana Hosey contributed 4 points and 5 rebounds. Sam Reilly finished the scoring for the Colts with 3 points and also added 5 rebounds of her own. Your Colts were down 20 points early in the third quarter and came storming back to cut it to 4 points in the 4th but the comeback just fell short.

Your Lady Colts varsity team bounced back in the second night of the Cedar Cliff Tip-Off Classic by beating CD East by a score of 53 – 28. Julia Hoffman led the team with 13 points and recorded a team high 2 blocks. Ryan Kaercher added 10 points, led the team in rebounds with 9 and was co-leader in steals with 4. Eliana Hosey also scored 10 points and pulled down 4 rebounds. Natalie Uibel had another solid night by scoring 7 points, snatching 4 rebounds, and was co-leader in steals with 4. Meghan Schraeder chipped in with 4 points and pulled down 5 rebounds. Taylor Ferraro added 4 points of her own. Kira Gorham led the team in assists with 4 and also had 3 points. Emily Ford finished the scoring for your Colts by adding 2 points. Ryan Kaercher also made the All-Tournament team for her two-day performance.

The JV team opened up their season by beating CD East by a score of 50 – 24. Emily Ford led the team in scoring with 14 points. Taylor Ferraro added 8 points and led the team in assist with 4 and in steals with 5. Ava Kimber chipped in with 7 points and added 4 rebounds. Bryn Cravener recorded 4 steals and also scored 6 points. Hannah Bahn added 4 points. Sydney Weyant, Zoe Gladfelter, Hope Joy, Kara Young, and Jaelyn Brown each had 2 points in the win. Lily Kamarer finished the scoring with 1 point and was the 11th Colt to reach the scoring column. Great job ladies!

Cedar Cliff had the W wrapped up by the half as the Colts cruised to a 53-28 win over CD East to capture third place in their namesake tournament. The Colts led 32-12 at the intermission and never looked back.
Julia Hoffman’s 13 points led the Colts, with Ryan Kaercher chipping in another 10 points in the blowout. Elaina Hosey finished with 10 points as well, including six points from beyond the arc.

She also led the team in rebounds with 6. Natalie Uibel had a solid night by scoring 8 points and was co-leader in steals with 3. Ryan Kaercher added 7 points and was also co-leader in steals with 3. Meghan Schraeder added 4 points, while Sam Reilly finished out the scoring with 3 points. Your Colts started off slow going down 1 – 9 after the first quarter. They didn’t panic and came out with some fire in the second quarter and held Hershey to 0 points while scoring 14 points of their own.

The JV team also beat Hershey by a score of 52 – 22! Taylor Ferraro and Sydney Weyant led the team in scoring by each having 11 points. Taylor Ferraro also led the team in steals with 5. Sydney also had 2 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 block. Ava Kimber added 9 points, 4 rebounds and 3 steals. Bryn Cravener had 5 points and 2 assists. Jaelyn Brown chipped in with 5 points and 2 rebounds. Your Colts picked up the intensity and defensive pressure in the 2nd half and only gave up 4 points during the final 16 minutes of play! Julia Hoffman led the way with 12 points and grabbed 4 rebounds. Eliana Hosey scored 8 points, went 4 for 4 from the free throw line, and was team leader in assists with 4. Ryan Kaercher led the team in rebounds with 10 and also chipped in with 7 points. Taylor Ferraro added 5 points and led the team in steals with 3. Natalie Uibel pulled down 8 rebounds and scored 4 points. Kira Gorham helped the cause by scoring 4 points, while Sam Reilly finished the scoring by adding 2 points.

Your Lady Colts won in thrilling fashion by beating Lower Dauphin in overtime by a score of 44 – 39. The team was down by 7 points with 1:10 remaining in the game. Julia Hoffman and Eliana Hosey each had huge three point shots in the final minute to bring us back. Natalie Uibel and Taylor Ferraro each had a key steal down the stretch. Once in OT, Natalie had another steal and lay-up to put the team up for good, while Eliana sealed the win at the free throw line.

The team was led by Eliana Hosey’s 11 points, which included 2 three pointers and 3 for 4 from the line in overtime. Julia Hoffman chipped in with 10 points (2 three pointers), and 5 rebounds. Natalie Uibel added 8 points, 5 rebounds and 3 steals. Ryan Kaercher led the team in rebounds with 6 and in steals with 5. She also scored 6 points. Sam Reilly added 6 points of her own and pulled down 4 rebounds. Taylor Ferraro had 2 points and 3 steals. Kira Gorham finished out the scoring with 1 point.

Cedar Cliff dropped Lower Dauphin 44-39 in OT on Tuesday behind Eliana Hosey’s team-leading 11 points and two treys. Julia Hoffman tied the game at 37 with less than five seconds left to send it to OT. Natalie Uibel stole the ball and scored to put the Colts up 41-39 with under a minute and Hosey made 3-of-4 from the line to tally the win. Hoffman had 10 points and two treys in the win, while Uibel tallied eight points.

The Varsity Lady Colts fought hard but came up short against a tough Susquehanna Township. The team lost 41 – 53.

The Indians and Colts are now both 8-4 in divisional play. Cedar Cliff’s Eliana Hosey led all players with 20 points, including 12 points from beyond the arc.

Bishop McDevitt (9-9) strung together an impressive third-quarter run to overcome a halftime deficit and, ultimately, earn a 44-36 win against Cedar Cliff (12-7). The Colts led 25-19 at the intermission, but an 18-8 third-quarter rally gave the Crusaders a lead that they wouldn’t squander. Natalie Uibel’s 13-point performance powered the Colts offensively.

The Varsity Lady Colts lost in the first round of the District III 6A playoffs to Manheim Township by a score of 17 – 33. Your Colts just could not find their rhythm on the offensive end of the floor all night.

Natalie Uibel led the team in scoring with 6 points. Ryan Kaercher added 5 points, which included a 30 foot three pointer at the halftime buzzer, and also led the team in rebounds with 4. Eliana Hosey finished the night with 3 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists. Sam Reilly also scored 3 points and pulled down 2 rebounds. Kira Gorham, our only senior on the team, concluded her career by grabbing 2 rebounds.

Last night’s loss ended the season for your Varsity Lady Colts. But, what a season! Your Varsity Lady Colts worked hard and had an incredible run!

They finished the season going 15 – 8 and 9 – 5 in the Keystone Division! This was also their 6th straight trip to District Playoffs!!!
