Your Lady Colts took on Central Bucks West in the first round of the State College Tip-off Tournament. The team led 20 – 11 at the half. Your Lady Colts came out in the third quarter and turned up the defense and outscored their opponents 15 – 4. The game ended with the first Colts win of the year by a score of 46 – 20.
 
Olivia Jones led the way with 17 points, 8 rebounds, 9 steals and 4 assists. Kathryn Sansom added 9 points and 3 rebounds. Taylor Ferraro chipped in with 7 points and 3 steals. Sydney Weyant had 5 points (1 – 3pointer), 2 assists and 2 rebounds. Alexis Buie added 4 points, 4 rebounds and 3 steals. Bryn Cravener had with 3 points and 2 assists. Jaelyn Brown finished the Colt scoring with 1 point and also grabbed 2 rebounds.

Your Lady Colts took on State College in the championship game of their own tournament. Your Colts were trailing late in the first quarter but went on a late flurry to take the lead 13 – 11 at the end of the first. The team took control in the second quarter outscoring the lady lions 27 – 10 in the frame. They never looked back and won the State College Tip-off Tourney by a score of 63 – 41.
 
Olivia Jones led the way with 19 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 steals. Kathryn Sansom added 16 points, 9 rebounds and 3 blocks. Taylor Ferraro chipped in with 9 points, 3 assists and 3 rebounds. Sydney Weyant had 8 points (1 – 3pointer), 2 rebounds and 4 deflections. Alexis Buie added 4 points, 2 rebounds and 1 block. Jaelyn Brown had with 2 points and 2 rebounds. Natalie Hoffman and Lyla Kaercher each scored 2 points. Bryn Cravener finished the Colt scoring with 1 point and pulled down 2 rebounds.

Your Lady Colts took on West York in the first round of the Cedar Cliff Tip-off Classic. The team took a 33 – 12 lead in at the half and held West York scoreless in the third. The game ended with another Colt victory by a score of 51 – 17.
 
Olivia Jones led the team in scoring with 16 points, in rebounds with 10, in assists with 6 and in steals with 4. Alexis Buie had a breakout game by scoring 12 points and pulling down 9 rebounds. Sydney Weyant chipped in with 8 points (2 – 3pointers), 4 rebounds, and 3 assists. Taylor Ferraro added 5 points, 4 assists and 3 steals. Kathyrn Sansom finished with 4 points and 4 rebounds. Natalie Hoffman added 4 points, while Kallie Gillen had 2 points and 4 rebounds. Bryn Cravener finished the stat line with 3 steals.

Your Lady Colts took on Susquehanna Township in the Championship game of the Cedar Cliff Tip-off Classic. Your Colts jumped out to an early 11 – 0 lead but Susquehanna didn’t let up. It was 18 – 12 mid-way through the second quarter, but the Colts pulled away to lead 29 – 16 at the half. Your Colts came out in the third quarter and took control of the game by outscoring their opponents 23 – 7 in the quarter. The game ended with your Colts winning the championship by a score of 59 – 27.

Olivia Jones led the team in scoring with 21 points (2 – 3 pointers), in rebounds with 10, while dishing out 2 assists. Alexis Buie chipped in with 14 points (1 – 3 pointer) and grabbing 9 rebounds. Sydney Weyant added 12 points (4 – 3 pointers), 3 rebounds, and 2 assists. Kathyrn Sansom finished with 8 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists. Natalie Hoffman added 3 points (1 – 3 pointer) and Ava Buckwalter finished the Colt scoring with 1 point. Taylor Ferraro added 3 assists and 2 rebounds, while Bryn Cravener dished out 2 assists.
 
Alexis Buie was named to the all-tournament team and Olivia Jones was named the tournament MVP. Congrats ladies!
 
Our Lady Colts JV team defeated the Susquehanna Township Indians by a score of 48 – 13.  Lyla Kaercher led the team in scoring with 12 points, co-leader in steals with 5, pulled down 4 rebounds and had 2 assists. Hannah Gay added 11 points, was co-leader in steals with 5 and had 2 rebounds. Laila Brown chipped in with 6 points. Ciara Stump added 4 points and pulled down 6 rebounds. Ava Sansom went 3 for 4 from the free throw and finished with 3 points. Ava Buckwalter led the team in rebounds with 7, had 3 steals and 2 points. Elizabeth Wiestling finished her night with 2 points, 2 rebounds and 2 steals. Eloise Billus led the team in assists with 3 and had 2 points. Addison Baughman and Samantha Beaver each scored 2 points, while Natalie Hoffman finished the Colt scoring with 1 point.

Your Lady Colts started their Keystone division play by hosting Lower Dauphin. After a cold shooting first half, the team led 17 – 5 at the break. The Colts came out strong in the third quarter and outscored the Falcons 19 – 5. The team had a great night defensively hold LD to single digits in each of the four quarters. The game ended with a 43 – 14 CC victory.

Taylor Ferraro led the way with 11 points (1 – 3 pointer), 7 rebounds, 6 steals and 4 assists. Sydney Weyant added 10 points (2 – 3 pointers), 4 deflections and 2 steals. Alexis Buie chipped in with 9 points, 2 rebounds and 3 steals. Olivia Jones finished with 6 points (2 – 3 pointers), 3 rebounds, 3 assists, 7 deflections and 4 steals. Kathryn Sansom added 4 points, 6 rebounds, and held LD’s best player to 3 points. Bryn Cravener finished the Colt scoring with 3 points (1 – 3 pointer) and added 3 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 assists.

 
Our Lady Colts JV team also took on Lower Dauphin last night. The team ran away with the contest beating LD by a score of 34 – 14.
Lyla Kaercher had a monster night leading the team with 16 points, 10 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 assists. Hannah Gay added 4 points and 4 rebounds. Ava Sansom finished with 4 points and went 2 for 2 from the free throw line. Jillian MacIntire chipped in with 3 points, 3 rebounds and 3 steals. Eloise Billus had 2 points, 3 assists, 2 rebounds, and 2 steals. Ciara Stump added 2 points and 3 rebounds. Ava Buckwalter and Natalie Hoffman finished the Colt scoring with 2 points and 1 point respectively.

Your Lady Colts traveled to Keystone division foe Mechanicsburg to take on the Wildcats. Your Colts jumped out to an early 18 – 3 lead after the first quarter. The second quarter was much of the same and the team led 37 – 10 at the half. The Wildcats put up a fight in the second half but by the end, your Colts were victorious by a score of 55 – 30.

Sydney Weyant had an impressive night leading the team with 19 points (5 – 3 pointers), 4 rebounds and 3 assists. Taylor Ferraro added 11 points (1 – 3 pointer), led the team in assists with 7 and in steals with 6. Olivia Jones finished her night with 10 points, led the team in rebounds with 8 and dished out 4 assists. Alexis Buie chipped in with 6 points, grabbed 6 rebounds and had 3 blocks. Kathryn Sansom also had 6 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 assists. Kallie Gillen added 2 points and 2 rebounds. Bryn Cravener finished the Colt scoring with 1 point and hauled in 2 rebounds.
 
Our Lady Colts JV team also took on Mechanicsburg Friday night and walked out with a 44 – 20 victory.

Your Lady Colts traveled to Philadelphia to play in the Keystone Classic at Girard College. Their opponent was Cardinal O’Hara, defending 5A State Champion from a year ago. The first quarter found two talented teams battling it out for a 12 – 12 tie. O’Hara took control in the second quarter and led at the half 20 – 26. Your Colts got down by 10 early in the third quarter, coupled with some foul trouble but they never lost focus. They turned up their defense and held O’Hara to just 12 second half points. Alexis Buie held their best player to just 4 second half points. Sydney Weyant, Olivia Jones, Taylor Ferraro, and Bryn Cravener were amazing defending and switching on O’Hara’s guards the entire second half. Kathryn Sansom and Jaelyn Brown locked down the paint for an entire team effort!

Alexis Buie led the team with 15 points and in rebounds with 7. Olivia Jones added 12 points (4 for 6 FT in the 4th quarter) and 6 rebounds. Sydney Weyant continued her hot perimeter shooting by scoring 9 points (3 – 3 pointers), led the team in assists with 3 and pulled in 2 rebounds. Taylor Ferraro chipped in with 4 points and 2 steals. Kathryn Sansom added 2 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists. Bryn Cravener finished the stats with 2 deflections and 2 rebounds.

The varsity team took on the Trojans from Hershey in another Keystone division match-up. This one was all Colts from the tip. The game ended with a 67 – 15 win and saw 13 different Colt players register points.
 
Alexis Buie led the team with 16 points, in blocks with 3 and co-leader in rebounds with 8. Olivia Jones led the team in assists with 7, added 11 points, 6 rebounds and 5 steals. Sydney Weyant chipped in with 9 points, 2 rebounds, 4 deflections and 2 steals. Kallie Gillen added 6 points and 2 rebounds. Taylor Ferraro led the team in steals with 6, had 4 points and 4 assists. Ava Buckwalter finished with 4 points. Lyla Kaercher was co-leader in rebounds with 8 and also scored 3 points. Ella Frey saw her first action of the season and finished with 3 points (1 – 3 pointer), 4 rebounds and 4 steals. Jillian MacIntire also scored 3 points and grabbed 2 rebounds. Bryn Cravener, Hope Joy, Jaelyn Brown and Natalie Hoffman each scored 2 points in the victory.

Your Lady Colts were back in action last night versus the Cougars of Palmyra. After a slow start, the team finally found their groove in the second quarter putting up 27 points in the frame and led 39 – 15 at the half. The Colts cruised to the finish and secured a 47 – 25 Keystone victory.

Olivia Jones led the way with a team high 19 points (13 in the 2nd quarter) and pulled down 6 rebounds and had 2 assists. Taylor Ferraro added 13 points (1 – 3 pointer) and had team highs in steals (5) and deflections (9). Sydney Weyant finished with 7 points (1 – 3 pointer), led the team in assists with 3 and had 2 rebounds. Alexis Buie chipped in with 4 points, 4 rebounds and 3 steals. Kathryn Sansom added 2 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 assists. Bryn Cravener finished the scoring with 2 points and had 2 rebounds.
 
The Lady Colts JV team walked away with a 40 – 30 victory. Both JV teams were undefeated going into the game. Lyla Kaercher led the team in scoring with 13 points, in assists with 4, and was co-leader in rebounds with 4. Natalie Hoffman added 7 points and also dished out 3 assists. Jillian MacIntire chipped in with 6 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 steals. Elizabeth Wiestling led the team in steals with 3, in deflections with 6, had 3 rebounds and scored 4 points. Your Lady Colts took on Mifflin County in a battle of first versus second place in the Keystone Division. The team came out and exerted their dominance on the defensive end from the beginning, posting a 17 – 0 first quarter score. By halftime, they increased that lead to 42 – 7. Your Colts finished off the Huskies by a score of 60 – 19 and are in sole possession of first place in the Keystone.

Olivia Jones was co-leader in points with 13 (2 – 3 pointers), led the team in assists with 7, hauled in 6 rebounds, and blocked 4 shots. Taylor Ferraro was also co-leader in points with 13 (1 – 3 pointer) and led the team in steals with 5. Sydney Weyant added 11 points (3 – 3 pointers), 3 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 assists. Alexis Buie led the team in rebounds with 9 and also contributed 10 points, 2 steals and 2 assists. Jaelyn Brown finished her night with 5 points and 5 rebounds. Kathryn Sansom pulled in 5 rebounds and scored 4 points. Hope Joy and Kallie Gillen finished the scoring by each posting 2 points. Taylor and Bryn Cravener had great nights defensively, holding the Huskies top scorer to just 6 points.
 
Our Lady Colts JV team also took on Mifflin County and walked out with a 46 – 22 victory. The Colts were down 2 – 9 at the start but quickly regained their composure and finished the half on a 16 – 5 run to take a 18 – 14 halftime lead. The second half was much of the same as they finished with the win.

Your Lady Colts traveled to West York High School to participate in the West York Classic. The team took on a tough, scrappy Red Lion team in a non-conference battle. Red Lion jumped out early and took a 20 – 28 lead into halftime. Your Colts found themselves down by 11 points at one point early in the third quarter but dug their heels in and started the comeback. The team only gave up 4 points in the final quarter and finished the comeback by winning 44 – 39.
 
Alexis Buie led the team in scoring with 15 points and also grabbed 3 rebounds. Olivia Jones led the team rebounds with 11, in assists with 4, had 3 steals and 12 points (1 – 3pointer). Taylor Ferraro chipped in with 9 points, led the team in steals with 4 and had 2 blocks. Sydney Weyant added 4 points (1 – 3pointer), 2 assists and 2 rebounds. Lady Colts traveled to Red Land to take on their rival, the Patriots. The team came out the gate a little slow but picked it up quickly and took a 22 – 5 lead in at the half. The Colts outscored Red Land 17 – 2 in the third to put the game away. In the end, it was a Lady Colts victory by a score if 38 – 16.

Olivia Jones led the team in points with 14, in steals with 3 and was co-leader in rebounds with 7. Sydney Weyant added 8 points (2 – 3pointers), 4 rebounds and 2 deflections. The first quarter found it rough for both teams in the scoring column, where your Colts lead 5 – 4 after one. The basket opened up a little in the 2nd quarter and the team took a 19 – 10 lead into halftime. In the second half, your Colts gradually extended the lead and finish with a 36 – 18 victory.

Olivia Jones led the team in points with 16 (1 – 3pointer), in assists with 5 and was co-leader in rebounds with 5. Alexis Buie chipped in with 9 points, was co-leader in rebounds with 5 and led the team in blocks with 3. Sydney Weyant added 5 points (1 – 3pointer), 3 assists and 2 rebounds. Your Lady Colts hosted a tough Mechanicsburg team in another Keystone division match-up. Your Colts jumped out to an early 11 – 2 lead, but the Wildcats wouldn’t go away. The team found itself behind twice in the second quarter before going on a run and taking a 23 – 18 lead into halftime. The Colts came out and exerted their dominance in the third quarter by outscoring Mechanicsburg 18 – 2 in the frame. The team only gave up 7 points in the second half and ran away with a 52 – 25 victory.

Olivia Jones led the team in scoring with 17, in rebounds with 20, in assists with 6 and steals with 4. Alexis Buie finished her night with 13 points and 7 rebounds. Sydney Weyant added 10 points (2 – 3 pointers), 2 assists and 2 steals. Kathryn Sansom chipped in with 6 points, 2 rebounds and 2 assists. Taylor Ferraro scored 3 points (1 – 3pointer) and had 2 steals. Hope Joy added 2 points, while Kallie Gillen had 1 point. Bryn Cravener played exceptional defense all night and Jaelyn Brown pulled down 2 rebounds in the win.

Your Lady Colts traveled to Reading to take on the Lady Knights in the Geigle Classic. Reading came into the game on a 5-game win streak and an 11-4 overall record. It was a tight first quarter (9 – 5) as both teams were trying to figure out their opponent. In the second, your Colts took control of the game by outscoring Reading 20 – 6 in the frame. At the half, the team was up 29 – 11. The team extended their lead through the remaining two quarters and walked away with a 57 – 29 victory.
 
Alexis Buie led the team in scoring with 19 points (1 – 3pointer), pulled down 3 rebounds and blocked 3 shots. Olivia Jones led the team in rebounds with 12, in assists with 6 and poured in 18 points (1 – 3pointer). Your Lady Colts traveled to Palmyra to take on the Cougars. This was the fourth game in a row that the team was on the road. Your Colts were a little lethargic at the start but picked it up quickly and went in at half up 27 – 9. The second half was much of the same and saw your Colts coming out victorious 47 – 18.

Sydney Weyant led the way with 14 points (4 – 3pointers), 3 rebounds, a steal, 2 assists and a block. Olivia Jones added another double-double scoring 10 points and pulling down 15 rebounds, while dishing out 3 assists. Alexis Buie chipped in with 8 points, 5 rebounds and 2 blocks. Kathryn Sansome contributed 4 points and led the team in blocks with 3. Taylor Ferraro led the team in assists with 4, scored 3 points (1 – 3pointer), and had 3 rebounds. Jaelyn Brown added 2 points and 2 steals. Lyla Kaercher chipped in with 2 points and 2 rebounds. Finishing up the stats were Kallie Gillen and Ella Frey each scoring 2 points and Bryn Cravener pulling down 4 rebounds.

The Colts (18-0, 11-0 Keystone) led 12-5 through the first quarter and broke the game open with a 15-4 run in the second. Nine other players joined Weyant and Jones with points for Cedar Cliff. Keely Bowers scored seven points to lead the Panthers (5-13, 3-8).

Your Lady Colts hosted Milton Hershey on Senior Recognition Night. Our senior’s jumped out to an early 19 – 4 first quarter lead and never looked back. In the end, the team posted a 52 – 20 victory. After the game, the team cut down the nets as they have secured the Keystone Division Championship for the second year in row!

Sydney’s first 3 pointer was her 100th career 3-pointer and now holds the school record for girls basketball. Kathryn Sansom chipped in with 7 points and 2 rebounds. Taylor Ferraro led the team in steals with 6 and also scored 6 points. Alexis Buie contributed 5 rebounds, 3 assists and scored 3 points. Lyla Kaercher added 2 points and 3 rebounds. The team jumped out to a quick 8 – 0 lead to start the game but the Shamrocks fought back to make it 15 – 9 at the end of the first quarter. Your Colts picked up the defense in the second quarter only giving up 1 point and took a 28 – 10 lead in at halftime. The team was able to extend that lead throughout the second half and finished the game with a 52 – 24 victory.

Your Colts were able to extend that lead to 25 – 9 by halftime behind some stellar defense on the perimeter by Ferraro, Jones, Weyant, and Cravener and rebounding by Buie, Jones, and Sansom. The teams lead fluctuated between 12 and 19 points most of the second half before culminating in a 50 – 36 championship victory!

Your Lady Colts hosted William Penn in the quarterfinals of the District III 6A playoffs. The team was able to get out of the gate quickly and built a 16 – 6 first quarter lead. It was a hard fought second quarter with both teams not backing down. Your Colts were able to take a 25 – 14 lead into halftime. The second half turned into a physical battle on both sides of the ball. In the end, the team walked away with a convincing 48 – 25 victory.

They got down early in the second but battled back to take a 19 – 15 lead into halftime. Both teams traded blows in the second half but your Colts came out victorious by a score of 42 – 33.

Both teams had runs during the second half but your Colts were able to sustain the lead and finished with a 47 – 37 victory!

During second quarter the team turned up its defense and only allowed 2 points. By halftime, your Colts were up 20 – 11. The team extended that lead in the third by posting a 31 – 17 score. Garnet Valley showed fight till the end but your Colts came away victorious by a score of 45 – 28.
 
Kathryn Sansom led the way with 13 points, was co-leader in assists with 4, had 5 rebounds and 2 blocks. Alexis Buie added 10 points, 5 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 blocks. Olivia Jones led the team in rebounds with 8, scored 9 points, had 2 steals and 2 blocks. Your Lady Colts traveled to Altoona High School to take on Upper St Clair in the 3rd round of the PIAA State 6A Playoffs. Your Colts exhibited excellent defense to start the game only allowing 1 point to USC, while scoring 12 points themselves. The second quarter saw USC battle back outscoring the Colts 6 – 9. At the half, your Colts led 18 – 10. The third quarter was dominated by the Colts outscoring USC 13 – 3 and taking a 31 – 13 lead into the 4th quarter. USC made a little run late in the game but was quickly terminated and your Colts ended the game with a 39 – 22 victory.
 
Olivia Jones led the team in rebounds with 12, in assists with 5 and was co-leader in points with 10. Alexis Buie was co-leader in points with 10 ( 4 for 5 Free Throws) and finished with 8 rebounds. Sydney Weyant added 9 points (2 – 3pointers and 3 for 4 Free Throws) and had 2 assists. Kathryn Sansom and Ella Frey each had 4 points. Taylor Ferraro finished with 5 rebounds and 2 points. The entire team exhibited great defense and limited USC to only 3 made 3 pointers on the night. During the regular season, they averaged around 8 per game.

Your Lady Colts traveled to Altoona High School to take on Norwin in the semi-finals of the PIAA State 6A Playoffs. Your Colts jumped out to an early 14 – 7 lead after the first quarter. The second quarter saw the tides change in Norwin’s favor and the team went into halftime down 20 – 22. The third quarter was a battle with both teams going on runs. Behind Olivia Jones’s 10 points in the quarter and a buzzer beater 3-pointer by Sydney Weyant, your Colts went back up 38 – 36. The fourth quarter saw the lead change multiple times but ended in a 47 – 47 tie. The first minute and a half of overtime saw both teams struggling to score until Taylor Ferraro’s 3 pointer went in and gave the team a 50 – 47 lead that they wouldn’t relinquish. Your Colts ended up winning by a score of 55 – 47 and punched their ticket to the state championship game.

Your Lady Colts traveled to the Giant Center to take on Archbishop Carroll in the championship game of the PIAA State 6A Playoffs. The first quarter saw two solid defensive teams make it difficult for each other to score and ended in a 7 – 7 tie. The second quarter witnessed much of the same but your Colts were able to head into halftime with a 13 – 12 lead. The third quarter saw the Patriots outscore your Colts 10 – 15 and took a 4-point lead into the 4th quarter. The team was down as much as 8 points in the final quarter but kept fighting back multiple times. Archbishop Carroll hit 12 of 15 free throws down the stretch, which proved to be too much for your Colts and the game ended with a 37 – 43 loss.
 
Olivia Jones was co-leader in points with 9, led the team in rebounds with 11 and recorded 2 steals. Taylor Ferraro was co-leader in points with 9 (2 – 3pointers), led the team in assists with 3 and had 2 steals. Ella Frey chipped in with 8 points (2 – 3pointers) and 2 rebounds. Kathryn Sansom contributed 5 points, 4 rebounds and 2 assists. Sydney Weyant added 3 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists. Alexis Buie finished the stat line with 3 points, 8 rebounds and 3 blocks.
 
The Varsity team finishes the season with a 30 – 1 record. They were Keystone Division Champs, Mid Penn Conference Champs, District III 6A Champs and PIAA 6A State runner-up. What an amazing ride this team took us on!!
