PennLive has created a list of some Mid-Penn underclassmen to keep an eye on as they look to contribute for their programs.  Cedar Cliff’s Kathryn Sansom (sophomore) and Olivia Jones (freshmen) made the list of girls they think could be on-the-radar throughout this season.

Olivia Jones
Position: Forward/Guard
Class: Freshman
Buzz: The only freshman prospect on this list, Olivia Jones has the potential to be the next big thing out of the Mid-Penn. The 5-foot-10 freshman forward has one of the smoothest skillsets among underclassmen with her inside-out play. After a strong summer playing up on a 17U Philadelphia Belles team as an eight grader, Jones has gained first hand experience of how quick the high school game is. Expect a huge first year for the Colts as they navigate their way through a competitive Keystone division.

Kathryn Sansom
Position: Center
Class: Sophomore
Buzz: Kathryn Sansom, who’s also a two-sport athlete in volleyball, will look to protect the paint this season for the Colts. The 6-foot-2 sophomore center is a product in the making who’s learning how to use her body in the post and runs the floor exceptionally well. Watch out for Sansom this season. The Colts big has the potential for a huge breakout year.

Others on the list: Schuyler Coles (Susquehanna Township – Sophomore), Sophia DeMartino (Susquehanna Township – Sophomore), Alexis Ferguson (Central Dauphin – Sophomore), Sophia Formica (Bishop McDevitt – Sophomore), Natalie Freed (Trinity – Sophomore), Olivia Grella (Bishop McDevitt – Sophomore).
